Sound Broadband has partnered with Western New Mexico Communications (WNMC) to select Ericsson’s 5G solutions through Xtreme Enterprises, following a successful demonstration of near gigabit internet speeds using Fixed Wireless Access (FWA). The demonstration showed download speeds nearing 1Gbps with upload speeds exceeding 100 Mbps, highlighting Sound Broadband’s commitment to delivering high-speed internet to underserved rural areas in New Mexico and beyond.
